Accessibility

Equal opportunities in the digital world.

Accessible websites aim to provide equal access to digital content for everyone—regardless of personal abilities or limitations. They are designed to support users with visual or auditory impairments, motor limitations, or cognitive challenges. Measures include a clear structure, meaningful alternative text for images, strong color contrast, and intuitive navigation.

In this way, accessible websites improve usability and access for all and enable full participation in the digital space.

The measures were implemented according to EN 301 549 based on WCAG 2.1 level AA.

Implemented accessibility measures

  • Disable animations: Moving elements can be turned off.
  • Easy language: Texts can be displayed in Easy Language on request.
  • ARIA roles: Semantic roles and attributes for screen readers.

  • Alternative text: Appropriate and meaningful alt text for all images.
  • Semantic structure: Consistent heading hierarchy h1–h6 and landmark elements.
  • Language identification: lang attribute on the HTML element and for foreign‑language sections.
