In view of pressing challenges such as raw material scarcity and population growth, we have long embraced the principles of the circular economy.
Our products are designed from the ground up so that installed components can be replaced individually and, where appropriate, refurbished. In our temperature control units we rely on a modular design, with parts that are easy to disassemble and replace individually.
We also maintain an extensive stock of refurbished parts, enabling us to supply spare parts even for temperature control units that are 40 years old or more.
By continuously optimizing our internal manufacturing processes, we have already made significant progress in saving operating and consumable materials. We have reduced resource consumption by more than 28% and consistently pursue a circular approach by feeding as many operating and waste materials as possible back into the production process.
To further minimize CO2 emissions from long transport routes, we have built a growing network of regional suppliers. We also place great value on production that meets the standards of "Made in Germany" to manufacture our temperature control units in Germany.
Another important factor is the power supply for our manufacturing. We rely on self‑generated green electricity to make our production processes sustainable.
